Today is a colourful feature full of beautiful decorative surface pattern design! Amy Butler produces beautiful floral inspired pieces which I find totally inspirational and revisit time and again when I am in need of ideas! They are redolent of traditional oriental inspired wallpapers, the kind that you see in gorgeous stately homes, except Butler’s colour palette tends more towards the bright, rather than the faded tones that you see on the walls of the National Trust! Lots to draw from, in every sense of the word.
